We went to the Cubs game today & got to see them clinch the NL Central. I took a bunch of pictures (253 in total) and here are some of the better ones. Click on the pictures to see them larger.
The Cubs invited this 104 year old man to throw out a ceremonial pitch before the game.
Vince Vaughn also threw out a first pitch.
Even the Cubs players want to get their picture taken with Vince.
Here is Vince singing "Take Me Out to The Ball Game" during the 7th inning stretch.
This is Kerry Wood closing out the game in the bottom of the 9th.
Jim Edmonds catching the final out!!
Look at all of those "W" (Cubs win) flags.
Ron Santo is probably the happiest Cubs fan of them all.
The Cubs came back out of the locker room to shower each other and some of the fans with Champagne.
This is probably my favorite picture of the bunch I took after the game.
The next game that matters will be on October 1. I'll be there too!
Technical details: I took all of the photos with my Canon 20D camera and a 55-250mm IS lens. I converted the pictures to JPGs and shrunk them a little using Adobe Lightroom 2.0, which I highly recommend for any avid photographer.
How f'ing sweet it is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did Vince pitch after the 104 year old man as your sequence shows? It wasn't featured on the broadcast I saw if he did.
Yay for the Cubbies!!!
