So, we went in thinking the night game would be quieter than the game between Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Man, were we wrong. Probably 2/3 of the people at the game were Korean. It was a lot of fun. Having Japan win was in my best interest financially, but having the Korean fans and the Cubans together would have been great.
The Korean guys in the row in front of us had some great signs:
The guys told us that Ichiro told the press in Japan that the Koreans wouldn't beat Japan in baseball in 30 years. Of course, Korea then went out and beat Japan twice. The Koreans were all really upset with Ichiro.
Oh yeah, there was a Mexican wrestler at the game:
